Welcome
Welcome to my website. I was passively interested in politics for many years, but after enduring the 8 year national disaster that was the Bush administration in Washington, I decided it was time to get involved. I was elected as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention from the North Carolina 9th district. After the convention I worked for Harry Taylor's campaign for congress in the NC 9th district.
In 2009 I was a candidate for Charlotte City Council from District 7, and my campaign helped give attention to the small business community of Charlotte.
In March 2010 I was appointed by the Charlotte City Council to a 3 year term on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Community Relations Committee and recently reappointed to another 3 year term.
I am currently the 1st Vice Chair of the Mecklenburg County Democratic Party.
Through my involvement I found that one person can make a difference. The problem is that one person is not enough to make all the changes that are needed.
